2. Initial Analysis
Interpretive Intent: After a plan view of your yard is drawn, a
site analysis needs to be done. Site analysis is taking an inventory of the yard
and graphically showing items which impact the site. This analysis needs to include
wind direction, sun angle and exposure, desirable views to maintain, undesirable
views to block, access and circulation patterns, soils, drainage, topography, easements,
utilities, noise issues and the like.
Exhibit Design: An existing landscape that needs rehab will have
3/D large graphic elements which are strategically placed in positions as they actually
occur. A graphic site analysis plan will be included on the accompanying signage.
