Neighborhood
In this area, six themed yards are placed along a mock residential street. Each yard has a specific planting style with varied degrees of water requirements for specific plant needs. For comparison purposes, every yard is individually metered to track water use. These landscapes help to show the requirements and appearance that can be expected for each landscape style.

The most water-efficient of all the landscapes in the Neighborhood. This garden hasn't received supplemental irrigation since 2002.
Perennial Landscape
By primarily using perennials and some shrubs, this landscape proves that beautiful landscapes can achieve water savings.
Traditional Landscape
Designed to resemble the traditional style of landscaping in Utah, this landscape saves half the water used in an average Utah landscape due to proper design and irrigation.
Woodland Landscape
Being in this landscape feels like you are in the mountains. This is a great example of a dry shade garden that would be perfect around any home or cabin and uses very little water.
